Hackers Release iOS 4.2.1 Unlock for iPhone 3GS

iPhone 3G and 3GS can now unlock their phones to work with other carriers. New carrier unlock for iPhone models allows the iPhone to accept any SIM card. Jailbreaking or hacking your iPhone was deemed legal by the U.S. Copyright Office this summer. An unlock hack for iPhone 4 users with iOS 4.2.1 is expected soon. This is be handy if you travel abroad and wish to avoid high roaming charges by using a local prepaid SIM instead.

Several Iran Centrifuges Affected by Computer Virus

It is confirmed by Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that many centrifuges enrich uranium as a part of country’s nuclear program are affected by malicious computer software.  The Stuxnet virus may have been created to sabotage Iran’s uranium. Iran delayed plans to make fuel for a reactor and that it may have run into technical difficulties. Iran’s nuclear program, which has drawn four sets of United Nations sanctions, is at the center of the dispute between the U.S., its allies and Iran.

Experiment reveals how scammers earn huge money with simple scams

UK has conducted an experiment on scam by tracking that revealed how online scam can earn scammers a lot of money in a short time. The hoax website was set up and the price for the ticket was set at £250. Three minutes after the site went up ended with over 160 visitors having clicked on the “Buy now” that showed them message explaining the hoax site was a way to demonstrate how scammers misuse events to make money.
